We are two brothers and a sister who grew up playing music together.  

 

After many years of playing in separate groups we formed Heelstone in 2001 to perform traditional folk songs and tunes but to give them a bit more attitude and expression than we were used to hearing.  

 

Since then we have performed at many events including festivals, weddings, parties and pubs.  

 

We have recently been joined by an old friend who is a fantastic bodhran player and singer of Irish songs.

Why Heelstone?  The Heelstone is the big rock at Stonehenge, just over the hill from where we come from.
